BGE schedules EDI
testing up to four times a year and the normal testing period consists
of three weeks. To be included in a test batch, the
electricity supplier must
notify BGE by the notification deadline listed. To qualify for EDI
testing, new
electricity suppliers must be licensed by the Maryland Public Service
Commission and must have submitted a complete Electricity Supplier Registration package to BGE prior to the notification deadline listed above.
