Gas Supplier Application Process

All of the documents required to complete the Gas Supplier Application package are listed below. You must have Adobe Reader to download the documents.

Suppliers participating in the Daily Requirements Service Program and Daily Metered Program must obtain a DSWeb User ID and Password

BGE Daily Requirements Service Program Supplier Application Package

• Copy of Maryland Gas Supplier License Application
• Copy of approved Maryland Gas Supplier License
• Copy of W-9 Form
• Copy of most three (3) recent years of audited, corporate financial statements
• Gas Billing Services Agreement *
• Consumption Reporting Agreement (DRS) *
• Customer Consumption Data (CDWeb) Reporting*
• Gas Supplier Credit Application*
  • The minimum collateral in the form of a Letter of Credit or Surety Bond is $50,000
  • BGE will be provide a Letter of Credit or Surety Bond form approximately 6 weeks prior to XML testing
  • The BGE Gas Choice Program does not accept cash as collateral
• Gas Supplier Registration Form *

*BGE requires two sets of all documents with original signatures by an authorized electricity supplier representative. After GE executes these documents, one set will be returned to the gas supplier.

• Copy of Maryland Gas Supplier License Application
• Copy of approved Maryland Gas Supplier License
• Customer Consumption Data (CDWeb) Reporting Agreement *
• CD Web New User Information Form*
• Gas Supplier Registration Form *

*BGE requires two sets of all documents with original signatures by an authorized electricity supplier representative. After GE executes these documents, one set will be returned to the gas supplier

Once you have completed the Gas Supplier Application Package, BGE will provide you access to the DSWeb, CDWeb and schedule you for XML testing. You will be placed in the next available XML test window.
